AAbout the Art:
My work explores how surfaces can hold memory through layering, intervention, and a sense of built history. I use materials like sand, glitter, fabric, and paint to create textured pieces that sit between painting and relief. Lace is a recurring element, pressed into wooden panels to transfer its delicate patterns onto a rigid surface. Tied to women’s clothing and the home, it introduces a quiet feminine presence while creating a tension between softness and structure. Each piece becomes a record of presence, shaped by both what is seen and what is missing.
